Single Sign-on

SSO is an authentication method that allows a user to log in with a single credential to multiple software systems or applications; it enables the user to log-in once and access services without re-entering authentication factors.

  • Security
    • SSO reduces the number of logins each day and only requires one set of credentials, which strengthens enterprise security. In addition, when an employee leaves the company, deprovision of account becomes easy with SSO.

  •  Compliance
    • Regulations, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, require that IT controls are documented and that organisations prove that adequate measures are in place to protect data. SSO can help meet these requirements.

  • Improved user experience and software adoption
    • Access to the platform becomes seamless with automatic account creation. In addition, SSO reduces the cognitive burden of having multiple user names and passwords for the employees, thus improving productivity.

  • Increased time- and cost-saving for IT
    • SSO allows time-saving on password resets as well as provision and deprovision of users.
