Notice

The following steps will have to be completed TWICE — once for the Barcode printer, and once for the Address printer.

Installation steps:

  1. Plug your printer into a power outlet & connect the printer to your router using an ethernet cable.

  2. Turn the printer on.

  3. Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

  4. Go to System Preferences > Printers

  5. Press [+], then click on the IP TAB

  6. Unlike USB connected printers, Ethernet printers will not be automatically detected, so you have to fill in everything as follows:

    • Address - The Ip address already assigned to your printer

    • Protocol: HP Jetdirect - Socket

    • Queue: leave blank

    • Name: Anything you want (but it must not remain blank or share the same name as other printers)

    • Location: optional, can be left blank

  7. Then use: Choose a driver > Choose option Select Software, and in the Printer Software pop-up that shows up, we have to choose Zebra ZPL Label Printer

  8. Press OK

  9. You have now successfully installed your printer onto your computer!
