Status Accuracy Improvements in Request Manager
We've made Request Manager statuses more precise and added a few shortcuts that make managing reservations and deliveries linked to a request easier.
🎯 Why This Matters
Previously, the Approved request status covered requests that were both reserved and converted to deliveries, so you couldn't tell at a glance, or filter for, which ones had actually turned into a reservation versus an open send out. Now that Approved and Reserved and Converted to Delivery are separate, filterable statuses, you can find requests at exactly the stage you care about, and they'll stay accurate. Sample statuses stay updated along the way too: if a sample is removed from a linked reservation or delivery, or if a reservation or pending send out is canceled in bulk, the request updates to reflect the removal instead of still showing the sample as Approved or Converted to Delivery.
✅ What's New in the Request Manager
1. More specific statuses
Request status Approved is now Approved and Reserved, and only includes requests that have been converted into reservations. Converted to Delivery is a new status for requests that have ultimately become open send outs.

2. One “Convert to…” option
For Pending requests, the options menu now shows a single Convert to… action instead of separate actions for converting to a Reservation, Delivery, and Purchase. Selecting Convert to… lets you choose the send out type you want, including two new options: Transfer and Gift.

3. "Go to reservation(s)" and "Go to deliveries" shortcuts
Approved requests now have a Go to reservation(s) menu option, and requests converted to a delivery have a Go to deliveries option. Both jump straight to the linked send out in the Send Out Manager, where you can manage your send out.

4. Sample statuses stay in sync
If a sample is removed from a send out linked to a request, or if the send out is canceled, that sample is now shown as Declined on the request instead of staying Approved or Converted to Delivery. If a declined sample is later added back to the linked reservation or send out, its request status updates to Approved or Converted to Delivery accordingly.
5. Recipient access enforcement
When editing a send out, you can now only save it if you have access to its bill-to and ship-to contacts. Previously, a send out could be saved with contacts you didn't have access to.
🔎 What This Enables
- Precise, filterable statuses: Filter requests by Approved and Reserved or Converted to Delivery instead of one catch-all Approved status.
- Trustworthy status adaptation: Request status and the samples within always reflects what's actually happened downstream in the Send Out Manager.
- Faster navigation: Jump directly from a request to its reservation or delivery without searching for it.
- Centralized convert option: One menu option covers every send out type, including the new Transfer and Gift options.
- Cleaner recipient data: Send outs can no longer be saved with contacts you shouldn't have access to.
