Star Micronics Printer Setup 

 

In this article you will learn how to connect the  SM-S230i Portable Printer to the Events by Launchmetrics App on iPad / iPhone, enabling the printing of labels for each invitee.
Each printed label includes the QR Code, as well as the invitee’s Name, Surname, and Seat Number 

 

Connecting the Printer 


Configure the star setting app on your Device (Ipad/Iphone)

  • Open the Star Setting app.
  • Apply the configuration as shown in the below image
    • Device Name: Star Micronics
    • IOS Port Name: PRNT star
    • Auto Connection: Turn on











Run a Print Test from Events by Launchmetrics

  • Log in to the “Events by Launchmetrics” app via iPhone / iPad
  • Select the relevant event you're working on
  • Navigate to the Invitees section 
  • Click on an invitee’s name.
  • Tap Print to perform a printing test.
     
     

Final Check

  • Confirm that all setup steps above have been completed successfully.
  • Verify that the label prints correctly with the invitee details.
