How to use the search bar

Learn how to effectively utilize the search bar on your device to find information quickly and efficiently.

The search bar can be used to 1) find specific URL within the online channel or 2) can be used to search for specific content within all the three channels by using boolean queries.

To find a specific URL within the online channel:

Select the right period of time in the date section and type the desired URL in the search bar as shown in the example below, If present the article will appear in the search results.

 
 

To search for specific content by entering  boolean queries:

Type boolean commands in the search bar of the Feed Results page, (more information on how to use boolean queries here). Here below some examples of syntax queries:

  • “Fashion week” AND “London”: it will yield results that contain both the keyword “Fashion week” and the keyword “London”.
  • “Fashion week” OR “London”: it will yield results that contain either the keyword “Fashion week” or the keyword “London”.
  • “Fashion week” AND ("Paris" OR “New York”): it will yield results that contain the keyword “Fashion week” with either the keywords "Paris" or "New York".
  • “Fashion week” AND ("Paris" AND “New York”): it will yield results that contain the keyword “Fashion week” with the keywords "Paris" and "New York".
