Beauty brands, whether focused on a single category (e.g., Caudalie: Skincare) or spanning multiple categories (e.g., Clarins: Makeup, Skincare), need precise tools to benchmark their performance and understand their positioning across these verticals.

The Beauty Categories feature empowers brands to analyze their data with the right level of granularity, offering valuable insights into specific beauty segments for both their own brand and competitors.

This enrichment is now available for all beauty brands within Launchmetrics’ coverage on both Discover and Insights.

 

How does it work?

Powered by AI, Launchmetrics’ model classifies documents based on the beauty categories they reference. The classification includes five categories: Haircare, Fragrance, Makeup, Skincare, and Other.

The model uses contextual data from text or audio-to-text conversions for videos to assign categories. A document can be labeled with one or multiple categories and may reference one or several brands.
