🗓 released October xxth
Zone Access Management
You can now define the restricted areas of your venue and control who is allowed into each one. Zone Access Management lets you create the zones of your event (e.g. Backstage, Riser, Press Area, Red Carpet...), group them into named access types, and assign those access types to your invitees, guests and staff — individually, in bulk, or straight from your Excel import.
✅ Why this matters
Until now, the platform could tell you who was invited and who had checked in, but not where each person was allowed to go once inside. Access rules lived in spreadsheets, printed lists and color-coded conventions shared verbally with security.
⭐️What's new
1. Zones and access types, set up on the Location page
A new Zone Access Management section on your event's Location settings.
2. Access Type and Zones Included columns in the Invitees Manager
Two new columns you can add from your layout preferences. Access Type is an inline dropdown — change it on a single row, or select several invitees and use Update Access Type in the bulk actions menu to apply one access type to the whole selection. Zones Included is read-only and derived automatically, so you can confirm at a glance that the right people ended up with the right access.
3. Real-time checks with RFID
Once access types are assigned, each person's bracelet is paired to their record at check-in. At each entry point, with our iOS app, security scans and immediately sees Admitted or Not Admitted with the person's name and access type, thus making the check process much faster and secure.
4. Reporting
A new Access Report for each event shows pairing rate, zone usage, scans per attendee and unauthorized attempts, plus a timeline of scan volume. You can compare activity by zone or by access type, then open any of them to filter the full scan log and export it.
📌 Zone Access Management is a paid add-on . Speak to your Customer Success Manager if you would like it enabled on your account.
